Birth-trauma

The barbaric procedure of giving birth immediately engrains fears, phobias, and insecurities in the human babies’ subconscious. Being held upside down in a bright, cold, sterile room and slapped to start breathing, is not a great start to life, especially when there are more humane alternatives such as water births.
